Good is the new black. The ideals of the triple bottom line philosophy: people, planet and profit has exploded. Advertising and commentary, on both the personal efforts of citizens and businesses embracing Good, has created a ground swell. The idea of companies doing “Good” and a stronger idealism from citizens, government, and even business itself, is resulting in a demand that Good be a part of the puzzle in how we create, live and consume.
This project started in 2009 with Good Works Work, a blog on Good Works changing the world we live in. The Good Roundup will continue that focus. We are also looking at, and learning from, partnerships between for profit companies and the non-profit sector, the conversation society is having around “Good” giving, and the power of Good in your own wallet. Can we trust all of this Good, or is it just Good messaging?
Let’s have the conversation…send questions or submissions through The Good Roundup or contact Jen@thegoodroundup.com
